An Interdisciplinary Approach to Arts Education

Participants will:

• Make and frame a printing project to explore the ways that the visual arts can support and enhance learning across the curriculum.
• Work with a colleague to plan possibilities for an interdisciplinary approach in their own teaching context.
• Develop an understanding of the ways an interdisciplinary approach that includes the visual arts can explicitly teach cross curricular priorities to primary students.

Suitable for: primary classroom teachers, specialist visual art teachers working in primary schools, TRTs, pre-service educators
